I recently stopped by store 9279 to return an unopened item to Advance Auto. I asked the clerk if I needed a receipt. He said "I need to see proof of purchase." I offered to show my credit card statement, then he said, "I need a receipt." When I looked online at the return policy, it states that all that I need is a valid ID. I'm not sure what his lack of motivation for helping me was. The only obvious reason was race. I'm not usually so quick to make that assumption but it was the only reason. I wasn't rude, and spoke to him calmly. Feedback: Follow protocol
